Simon Race
Head Professional
Simon joined Walton Heath in August 2022 as the Club's 5th Head Professional.
He has 25 Years experience in the Golf industry, and counts Royal Liverpool, Sea Island, Carnoustie and Meltham.
Simon's passion in coaching is the putting and mental side of the game as he truly believes this is an area we can all improve and save shots on.
Ben Light
PGA Advanced Professional
Ben joined Walton Heath in November 2019 and has over 8 years of experience in the golf industry.
Ben's focus is on the retail and golf day experience at Walton Heath.
Ben's coaching is player-focused and evidence-based using TrackMan in all lessons. His coaching is focused on maximising potential and building confidence, in a simple and easy to understand manner.
Ben is a TaylorMade Ambassador and loves getting out to play whenever possible.
Josh Rowles
PGA Professional
Josh recently joined the Team from Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands Golf Club where he has just completed his PGA Qualifications. He was also the recipient of the Titleist PGA Trainee of the Year award for 2024 after graduating from the University of Birmingham.
He is passionate about looking after Members, coaching and custom fitting.
Ben Terry
PGA Trainee Professional
Ben is currently in the second year of the PGA's Foundation degree programme.
Ben previously represented Norfolk at county level, before turning Pro off a +4 handicap and playing on the Clutch Pro Tour for the past 2 years.
He enjoys playing with Members and coaching players of all abilities.
Kye Steventön
Retail Assistant
Kye has re-joined the Pro Shop Team full time as a Retail Assistant.
Kye is originally from East Yorkshire and has spent 3 years studying the Applied Golf Management degree at the University of Birmingham. His first year placement was with us here in 2022, before his other placements at Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia and Quail Valley in Florida.
Kye likes to work on his own game over on the range, as well as spending time out on the course.
Jordan Kruck
Pro Shop Intern
Jordan has recently joined us from Melbourne, Australia and he is our intern for this summer.
Jordan has been fortunate enough to work at our reciprocal club Kingston Heath and is currently working at the Victoria Golf Club where he is a part of the Golf Operations Team.
